How do I keep bats from nesting in my homes roof eaves?
In spring time bats nest in the eaves of my house. They are not actually entering into the house or attic, just hanging in the eaves. This normally wouldn't be much of an issue, but they leave large piles of guano on my deck. I have to take the pressure washer to the bat guano to remove it. Itt damages the siding on my house, it unsightly, maybe a health hazard and makes it difficult to use the deck during certain times of the year. I appreciate the insect control work the bats are doing so I don't want to poison or harm them, but I need them to find another place to nest.

Have your thought about hanging some kind of moving object near the eaves to help deter them from landing? They travel on sonar and so do not go near moving objects.
Maybe interfere with their radar. Make some mobiles or hang wind chimes on the eaves.
