Not sure what is broken but if it's the door opening and closing mechanism (I can't remember what that's called) you can buy replacements at most home improvement stores. I just replaced one of mine last summer. It was very easy to do.

Easy Walmart sells the kit for about 10 dollars on line so easy I did it myself.
