I use it to kill fruit flies. About an inch of the vinegar, about an inch of water and a squirt of dish detergent in a glass bowl. I stir it just enough to make a few bubbles. Sit it near where you see them. Rinse out and mix more as it starts to evaporate and fill with fruit flies.
