How to Create Your Own Lighted Tree Stump Planter in 5 Easy Steps
You can either hollow out the stump, add a good potting mix and plant away. Or, just use the stump as a table of sorts and put an arrangements of flower pots on top of the stump. Good luck!
Hi Sharyn - if the stump is already rotten out, it's easy just add potting mix and plant flowers appropriate for the amount of sun or shade. If the stump is solid, it can be hollowed out with the right tools, but that is really hard to do. What I did was simply set a big whiskey barrel on top of my stump and planted flowers in the whiskey barrel. Good luck with your project!
