Hi! Try using magic eraser. It is an amazing cleaning sponge !!!! it will be able to clean uneven surfaces. It is white and you only use water on it, but it takes off scuffs off walls and floors. It cleans , especially , anything that has texture...metal , walls , leather ... Maybe you can find it on Amazon...
We found ours that difficult like yours. My husband bought a Hurricane Turbo scrubber, and it did the work for us! We use our own favorite cleaner, a non-toxic Simple Green also from walmart. Any cleaner you prefer will work! It is also great for cleaning ovens, stove ranges and even auto tires! They come with 4 or 5 brushes in a net bag and we love it. They are great and you can get them at Walmart or order them online through Amazon. They are $40 but worth ever penny. They take "hard" out of hard work. Hope this helps
I would wear a respirator with all the chemicals. No way would I breath any of that stuff with the exception of vinegar or lemon juice which is what I use. I have very hard water and have to squeegee down my shower, then sponge it, and then towel it off every time I bathe. If I don't follow this routine even for a few days, I have to break out the lemon juice. I apply it liberally with a sponge and let it sit for at least 12 hours. Then I get in the shower and while I'm soaping up and shampooing, I take a green scrubbie (safe on glass) and work over the entire shower - plastic, glass, and chrome. Then it's back to the squeegee, etc.
Buy a simple plastic squeegee, a suction hook or a Command hook, a scrubber sponge, and either a can of Scrubbing Bubbles or a box of baking soda and a bottle of vinegar. Spray the glass and tile with Scrubbing Bubbles all over (or make a vinegar and baking soda paste and spread it all over the glass and tile). Be careful—the shower will get slippery! Let the stuff stay for 10-30 minutes. Then scrub from top to bottom, in every corner, seam, and crevasse. Rinse several times to get all of the product out of the shower. Now use the squeegee to wipe off the tile and glass, from top to bottom, in long smooth strokes. Apply the hook just out of reach of the shower spray and hang the squeegee on it. If you will teach every single person to squeegee after every single shower, you won’t have to scrub but once a week or so, or maybe less. Your shower door and the tiles should be gleaming. ☺️
Invest in a scrub brush that is battery operated like the Hurricane Spin Brush. Lysol Power Scum cleaner in the blue trigger spray bottle is a good product. Blue Dawn & White Cleaning Vinegar 50/50 works well too.
I use "wet and forget shower". It has a light vanilla scent and you spray on the walls, doors, and tub/tile. You cannot use on marble. It's a self cleaning product with no scrub. Depending on how bad it is, it can take several weeks because it is recommended for once a week. I used twice a week for a few weeks, then switched to once a week for maintenance.
If you don't want to wait for it to work, you can take a grapefruit cut in half and sprinkle coarse sea salt on it. Then use it to scrub the shower. The salt is an abrasive and the fruit's acid cuts the grime.
At our old house, we had very hard water and my shower doors always looked cloudy. The one product that worked best was CLR. The trick to using this product is to spray it on and walk away. Come back in a half-hour and wipe the doors down. My doors looked crystal clear and I was happy with results.
Full strength white vinegar sprayed on and left to dry without wiping is supposed to kill spores. This has been a method used for many years. Vinegar is a good natural disinfectant. Or go on line for options. If not comfortable with solutions, it's best to replace.
Google a product called( moldbegone), it works beautifully if applied on surfaces that are dry at least 24hrs then left on overnight or at least 8 hrs.,..then rinse thoroughly..it works like magic and works on all kinds of shower surfaces..mine is fake marble..does not harm surfaces..will need to be out of room during 8hr cleaning process.. it's. A great product
I use a foam glass cleaner let set respray if needed the dry and rub with used dryer sheet for easier cleaning next time
My kids shower is notorious for soap scum because they never squeegee the glass so I make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and spread it on the glass and let it set for about 15 min. Then, I take a sponge and give it a good cleaning and it all comes right off! Works like a charm.
I just bought Vim Bathroom. It cleans Soap scum....Lime scale...and Bathroom grime. Avoid use on aged, worn, or unglazed surfaces. Do not use on cultured marble or lime-stone. A sponge with one scrubbing (rough side) works really well for removing dried scum...etc. If you want to use something natural...use...vinegar and baking soda and rough salt for scrubbing (if you need to really scrub.)
Two products online, Bio-Clean and Surface Protector. These two shower cleaners were recommended when we had our house for sale. They are incredible.
