How do I repair an old driveway??
My macadam driveway is falling apart.
Currently it is breaking up on it own with chunks. Do I concrete over it? Or do I reapply macadam?

You can't concrete over it. The entire area would need to excavated and properly prepped if you want concrete.

Hi Lynn,
I would not concrete over it. Concrete is worse (In my opinion) if you live in an area that gets hot and cold. Plus the surface has to be prepared for concrete and that would be a huge job. Here's an article that should help, but you probably need a professional to actually do the work. Hot asphalt works better for a larger job than the cold patches that are available to a homeowner. Get at least 3 estimates and to find out what each company suggests that you do in your specific situation. Wishing you the best.
