What type of hungry pests think your garden is a smorgasbord?
Hi Andrea. We live near woods and the DuPage River. So we see a lot of wildlife on our property. My vegetable garden used to be a buffet for them. I had tried everything under the sun to keep them out. Then I read about the Irish Spring Soap method. I decided to give it a try and was so surprised that it worked. That was three years ago and since then I buy the big 12-pack of the soap and shred them all at one time. I store it in a 5-gallon bucket with lid out in our shed. As soon as I put my garden in, I spread the soap shavings around the perimeter of my garden and around my plants. I spread out a little more after heavy rain. The 12-pack lasts all summer. I am very happy with this method. Good luck Andrea.
Fencing for animals, or fox or coyote urine you can buy online. For bugs, try diatomaceous earth. Depending on the bug, it could help.
