Make sure you clean your furniture properly to ensure their is no dirt or grease, then paint thin layers. Have fun - I love chalk paint, so transforming.
Chalk painting requires no prep except to be sure it is washed down and dry. Then chalk paint with a light hand. It is fun and what a difference it makes! You do need to seal it with a urethane. They make them now that do not yellow with age, so be sure to ask for a polyurethane that does not turn yellowish. Have fun!
