Hi Johnny Janie,
Here are some ideas. Click on the gallery slide show to see some suggestions. Think about what style will look good in your room. (Ignore their color - choose what YOU like). There are many ways to put curtains/blinds/shades/cornices/etc. in your bedroom. Hopefully an idea will pop for you. Wishing you the best.

We found the easiest way to do bedroom windows was to use blinds for privacy and the least expensive curtains are to hang a piece on each side of the window on the same rod as a shear curtain for daytime privacy. I furnished curtains for all our house windows for less than $19 per curtain this way (they already had the blinds for privacy). I bought the sheers and curtains both on sale. No the curtains do not close so if you need daytime darkness you would need a full window curtain.

I like canvas drop cloths that you lay on the floor for protecting while you paint. They are generally around $10 at the hardware store and large enough that you can cut it in half to use two panels out of it. You will have to do some sewing or iron on hem if you do cut it.
