How do I get an engine grease stain out of a pair of jeans?

I tried Dawn initially which lightened it. I also tried 2 kinds of Shout. It’s smaller but still there. I have not put them in drier yet.

Mineral spirits.
Try rubbing in baking soda, wet with shout, scrub with a tooth brush, soak in Oxi clean. Keep at it, will take several tries.
I usually use WD40 or auto hand cleaner.

Dawn! It works wonders on engine grease. Dawn and hot water. You can add a little baking soda for scrubbing power if you want
