My daughter has a large LeCreuset pot and was wondering how to clean it. She told me I cannot scrub it.
Yes you can scrub it. Just don't use anything abrasive. Bar Keepers Friend is perfect. Typically after you have removed all the food, and the pot has cooled to room temp, give it a good squirt of dish soap and fill with hot water and let it sit a bit. Here is what the manufacturer recommends.
Very expensive cookware, but so worth it, if cared for properly, will last for generations. I only have a few pieces, and are my favorites to cook with. Worth it's weight in gold.
use something non abrasive like baking soda or bar keeper's friend here are other ideas
Fill with water and put cream of tarter or baking soda in the pot. Heat to a simmer. Let sit for about 30 minutes then clean with a sponge or non abrasive scrubbie
From the manufacturer
Baking soda in a pot full of water, let it set overnight. Use a sponge to clean out. Repeat if needed.
