How can I secure mobile home skirting?
My mobile home is 5 ft off the ground. The skirting falls when there is bad weather or lots of wind. How can I fix the problem. Thanks Jo Ann Gennaro

Thanks for resolving this problem!!
We have the same outside our trailer. We have had very bad storms and many people lost skirting but we never have and one difference is that we have a runner on the bottom of the skirting for the bottom to rest in. Ours is 5 ft high also in the back esp. as we are on a slight slant. Hope this idea helps. IF you have a runner on the bottom and still have this trouble, you might put something in the runner with the skirting to tighten the hold, like a thin piece of old blinds or something similar to tighten the fit. Just an idea, hope it helps.
Hi Jo Ann. I used rebar and drove it into the ground for support behind the skirting and attached the skirting with zip ties. My problem was not only wind but flooding from the lake. It held great. Good luck.
Hello there,
Maybe change it for Clinker blocks instead .
