How can I kill bamboo and creeping jenny?
These two are taking over my yard and nothing stops them. I can only pull them out by the roots but, of course, that really doesn't help. Right now, I can't redo my whole yard. I'm desperate.

Pulling does nothing. You need to dig down and get the roots. This will get you started.

At my old house we had to get rid of some bamboo. We chopped down to ground level, dug out what we could, then literally drown the area repeatedly with vinegar. Took a few seasons, but we eventually got it all.
Cut it down to about 3-4 inches then immediately paint with straight Roundup.
You will note that all 3 of those links are to The Guardian, a left wing publication. The court case judgments were based on bad science. On my farm we have used Roundup for over 40 years and no one has had any ill effects. If you are careful with pesticides and follow the label there is no danger of poisoning.
