How do I spray for ticks?
If I use the mixture of peppermint mouthwash, beer and epsom salts to spray for tick, how do you get the epsom salts to dissolve? It seems to clog up the sprayer. Also, do I spray the whole yard and flower beds, or just the perimeter of my yard? Thank you

In my experience, epsom salts dissolve better in warm or hot liquids. Would warming up the beer reduce the efficacy of the solution? I'd spray the entire area, though. Good luck!
Thats an interesting recipe. If you use that, the alcohol and Epsom salt combination will harm your plants, flowers and grass. I would just use in areas with bare ground exposed. I just use vinegar and spray the perimeter of my property and base of my house. See if this helps you any.

Hi maybe try grinding the Epsom salt to a finer grain and mix in a tiny bit of really hot water to dissolve it before adding to the mixture. I don't think by adding a very small amount of water will change the effectiveness of the solution. Good luck !
