How can I make over those ugly concrete steps?
We have the standard set of those drab, somewhat ugly concrete steps in front of our home. I'd like to get some ideas as how to make them more inviting and/or better looking. We live in a cold climate which brings us snow and ice during the winters so I have to keep that in mind. Also, we have a colonial style home...so nothing outrageous. Thanks so much - I really do appreciate it!!!

My vote is to stain them. It fades over time, but easy to refresh when needed.

You can add exterior tile to the risers of the steps.
Thank you! I thought about doing this and still may do so but I absolutely detest the concrete as a whole...I'm looking to hide the whole darn thing. You may be right, though. At least it would make it more attractive and I thank you for taking the time to help. Appreciate it!
