I have a beautiful, broken glass birdbath, a cheap one, but it is in pieces. Have been considering smoothing the edges and wrapping copper wire around them to use as a wind chime type of outdoor decoration. It is lovely, brightly speckled glass. Hate to toss it.
You might find a rock hound who has a tumbler, and ask him to tumble the pieces to make beach glass from it.... then use in the garden, in the bottom of vases etc.

You could do mosaics, but I would be cautious about working with broken glass. Wear thick gloves maybe.
