Do you have any ideas for upcycling this clock?
I love this clock... it doesn't work any longer, but I was thinking I might could repurpose it and make some kind of wall decoration out of it. Initial thought... a big dark brown aged W on it.... you got any ideas. Another option... throw it away.

Hi Fonny, your idea of the "W" initial is great. That would be a statement. Another idea is to create the words (maybe in script font) on your computer... "Who Cares" meaning who cares what time it is and place appropriately on the clock face. Sort of a whimsical touch in your home. Another idea might be to find artwork you love and decoupage it onto the face of the clock so you don't have to remove the covering. Please don't throw it away! :)
Fonny, here are a couple ideas that might help:

This can most likely be repaired easily and cheaply. If it’s battery operated you can get a replacement ‘movement’.

You can buy new clock "guts" for just a couple of dollars on amazon, or probably in a craft store like AC More or Michael's. It's easy to replace.
Wow I love all these ideas. Have to try it on my clock.
Make it look STEAMPUNK! The second dial inside of the large one is a good start for that. Paint it 2 different colors. Wait for the first, darker or metallic color to dry completely, then put on a second lighter, or more colorful coat. Let it dry and skuff off parts of the top coat. You could even put a few short bolts (so just the heads are showing) around the outside diameter of the clock before the paint job.
