Do you have any ideas for a renter-friendly front door awning?
We would like to add an almost unnoticeable awning to our daughter’s brick townhouse that she rents. When it rains, one gets soaked mercilessly. Would like to have a good, removable awning plan before approaching her landlord. It’s worth a try.

Hi Rhonda, also talk to the landlord about a permanent one as well, maybe they will help pay for it. Here is one (more permanent) style

OR you can purchase something like a BBQ awning and anchor it right next to the exterior of the door, place the higher end against the house
If the landlord objects, have keys ready to do the door dash. I very briefly lived in a similar style rental establishment. I left everything other than my handbag in the car and waited for the rain to let up before retrieving groceries, etc. A good quality hooded slicker and umbrella make a difference too.
