i would like to remove this stain without having to refinish the entire room. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you.
If it doesn't wipe up, you'll need to refinish.
Put peroxide on the spot and cover with a wet rag. Let sit for hours. Then mop as usual. You may have to repeat.
Hi Athena. Make a paste of olive oil and salt. Put it on the stain and let it sit for at least one hour. Then wipe it all up. The salt will pull out the moisture and the olive oil will condition the wood. Good luck Athena.
I would use lemon oil and salt. Cover the area with lemon oil, pour salt to cover the oil. Cover with a wet towel and let sit overnight. Block access to the area while it soaks.
