Need more info please and a picture would help. Fabric, wood????
If they're deep, you're going to have to fill them with wood filler, sand, and either pick a close-enough stain, or sand lightly and refinish the entire chair.
Also get a nail clipper (I use a human toenail size clipper), a bowl of treats and a ton of patience as you teach each to enjoy nail trims. I would work with one cat in a separate room, so the other/s don't try to steal treats. A helper to distract and a large towel to swaddle kitty are invaluable. Do this frequently so they can't grow out damaging claws. Get something like bitter apple that will repel cats from that spot. They also make scratching pads that actually file short the claws while the cats use it.

From what I can see maybe shoe polish or leather dye. I'm not a leather expert, so I would take pictures to a leather store to see what they would recommend. I don't see any rips, but I did see on Amazon leather repair kits. May look into that. Hope it works out for you and the kitties.
