Use leather conditioner
Hello Trisha, it might be depending on what leather product do you want to wax. For my handbags in particular I like the Apple products and the Vectra spray for protection. Could you possibly clarify what leather product you are inquiring about —-for the best possible suggestions?
Hello there Trisha,
Saddle soap!
Use old-fashioned saddle soap for conditioning leather with lanolin and beeswax.... https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=what+is+saddle+soap&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 I always used a cosmetic sponge in a circular motion.
depends on the type of leather you want to wax? The nap open/fullgrain,coated,nubuck,suede,raw,dyed/natural ? what kind of animal leather is it? how fine? Buffalo, Doeskin,Lamb? all this makes a difference also what are you using leather for? all weather(boots)needs UV protection(car seats) making lacing? etc..
