You can try diatomaceous earth or neem oil.

Hi Lisa,

Go to a diy store and get a Japanese Beetle Trap, it comes with a pheromone that goes on top of the setup, The beetles are drawn to it and make their way into the bag to never come out again until you dump it at the end of the season. Be sure to hang it as far away from your trees/plants as possible.
