The moles are likely eating insects- grubs in your soil.
I would love to find a solution too! I’ve tried to Tomcat trap and the Sweeney worms and they both didn’t work for my troubles. Some have suggested to get a cat - or- eliminate the grubs in the soil.
In master gardener classes the expert lecturer commented there are four possible solutions, get a cat, get rid of the grubs, get a trap or live with them.

I got rid of voles in my yard by getting rid of all the grubs that they feed on. Once we sprayed for grubs the voles disappeared.
