How do I get rid of trees growing from little pin wheels?
All over my front yard are baby trees growing from those pin wheels that fly from everywhere. The whole side of my yard and half of the front grass. There must be thousands I can't pull them all out. We cut them down when we cut the grass. But of course it is so hot the grass is not growing but the trees are. I dont know what to do about them. I can't afford to dig it all up and replant. Is there anything that will kill the trees and not the grass.

I’m sorry to say. I think your only option is to pull them. :( Mowing them down will keep them from growing at least.
Just mow them down. Anything that will kill the trees will kill the grass. To stop this from happening again you have to stay ahead of it when they fall. Rake them up before they go to embedded seeds.
Pulling them is the only way. After a rain or wet down the soil. Easier to pull.
We get the trees growing up from the roots of the 1 tree in out front yard. Those are too tough to pull up. We have to cut them down or mow them. Yes, they keep coming back but nothing else we can do. All of out neighbors have the same thing. The roots of the tree are or were too close to the surface and you can see the roots in the yard and then the mini trees (if you keep them cut down) grow from them.
