Try to mix a weak solution of dish soap and water in a spray bottle. Spray when the sun is on the leaves. Spray both sides of the leaves.
Please check to see what is eating the leaves. Most insects that feed on leaves do not damage the plants. We need to keep aware of the "food chain" and not unnecessarily kill off insects as others feed on them.
A botanist I follow recommends using Dr Bronners to make a soap spray. A few squirts of Dr Bronners castile soap in a spray bottle of water. Spray on the underside of the leaves.
