Is synthetic grass easy to clean/maintain?
I have two large pine trees in the yard and grass does not do well under them, I lam thinking of putting down artificial grass or turf - the stuff that looks like real grass. I 'd like to know how to care for that artificial grass and what is involved in the upkeep - For example would I be able to rake or vacuum off pine cones and needles? I hope to hear from someone with experience with this type of artificial grass. I saw some in front of a building downtown and it looked real good but I don't know what it will look like after a winter and snowfall.

You can buy or rent power washers. They also have the type now to attach to a hose that works really well. It is also great for washing off the side of the house, decks, driveways, etc.
Very popular where I live. Can also be very expensive. You can rake, sweep or hose off as you would any other lawn. Quality and guarantee varies widely, so do your research carefully before you invest your hard earned money.
