You will need to put down cement board first. Then place tile on the floor using mastik to adhere and spacers between tile. Make sure the spacers match the space between tile if you are using smaller ones. Once all the tile is placed on the floor and dry, you grout then seal when it is dry.
If you've never laid tile before, I would watch a lot of youtube videos.

Make sure you see 1/2,concrete board over your subfloor. If skip this step, the tile will crack. Subfloor is not stronge enough by itself.
