Grab some battery operated lights to wrap around a branch and then you could tie some string around the branches to hang it from.

Hi Sandy. I'm Cindy. I'm going to recommend that you take a look at older Home Talk projects. You can do that by clicking on the little blue house at the top of this page, left-hand corner. Look under Garden. They have a few tree branch projects to choose from. There are even more older projects under "Explore Projects" Good luck with your tree branch project. It sounds like fun.
If you do decide to go with the battery operated lights, be sure to use rechargeable batteries. Although it may be hard to believe, these 'little' lights eat batteries like crazy.
