Don't do a Do-It-Yourself tub re-glaze. We purchased a home where the master bath had a DIY tub re-glaze and, while it initially looked great within a year it peeled off.
Hi Mary, your best bet is to use a paint that's designed specifically for shower trays and that's resistant to harsh detergents. . Your local hardware should be able to guide you. I have heard great things about RustOleum's Tub & Tile kit, but I've only seen it in white.
