How can I build a DIY platform bed?
I have been with out a bed in my bedroom for a year. I am wanting to ask where can I get measurements for a diy platform bed that I am thinking of creating. Can anyone help ? Thanks. I appreciate it so much for any help that is worth having ideas to go for. I am not good with math which is very true.

Hi there. This post shows a diagram that has measurements on it. Depending on your bed size, this may work out for you. Hope it helps! https://www.hometalk.com/diy/bedroom/furniture/diy-platform-bed-and-barnwood-finish-21562331

Hello Desiree,
It is possible to lay Pallets flat on floor to make a bed base. Then all you would need is a mattress. It would not need to fit exactly. You could also buy a blow up bed instead!
The measurements are doing to depend on the size bed you’re looking to use. Google “bed sizes” and add on from there, depending on what you’d like to do. Type in “bed platform” in the Hometalk search bar for ideas.
lay some cinder blocks down on floor then a large piece of plywood atop blocks then put your mattress on top if you stand the blocks up on end so they are taller you'll need more so they are more solid won't tip when getting in and out/sliding off edge of bed here is another idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHjgPIo5alc another https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAgEk2bUhQY another https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGdey3f4C34&t=18s one more low cost https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGH62gzTo2o
It will depend on the mattress size. Here's a link for that information:

I was going to suggest an air mattress also.
This is only $49 and you would have 14" high storage underneath. You would probably want a bed skirt.
