A professional wood floor installer told me to use 1 cup windex with 3 parts water and wash them with that they get nice and clean it won’t hurt finish and Frye’s fast.

The secret is maintenance: sweep and keep free of damaging dust & debris. If you spill something, wipe immediately. They are best cleaned with microfiber dusters.
