You can use polymeric sand.
Buy "Perma-Sand" polymeric sand. It goes on dry and fills the cracks. Then it is dampened to activate the binding agent. Follow instructions on the bucket. I have found it at Home Depot and Lowe's. We did a cobblestone walkway last year and it is holding everything together and no weeds. It is perfect for your walk.
I agree with Polymeric sand. Pour it on ans sweep it into the joints.
When we built a brick patio, we poured mortar mix in between (while dry) then swept any loose into cracks and then wet to let set.
I did the Morter Mix too and it has lasted years.
