What is causing cloudy grayish areas on the leaves of my hydrangeas?

I have a large hydrangea on my deck. I has cloudy grayish areas on the leaves. What could this be and how should I treat it?

COULD BE MOLD. WASH IT OFF WITH A GARDEN HOSE. HOPE THAT WORKS.
