Hi Helem, it depends on your zone/where you live. I would check in with your local nursery, they'll be versed on what will grow in a shaded area where you are.
Hosta's. Don't need mush soil prep. Tolerate shade well.
depending on your area.. ground covers for your local area.. Its often dry shade if its an evergreen.
