Fruit bearing trees typically take several years to set fruit, just be patient. Good luck and enjoy those mangos!
Mango trees are monoecious, meaning they have both male and female flowers to fertilize itself. Like Naomie said, you just need to be patient with your mangoes . They can take 3-5 years to produce fruit.
Just lift a branch and look.
LOL just a joke!
Do you need a male and female mango seed to harvest and produce fruit
Mango seeds
The flowers fertilize them selves, if you want to assist with this process, use a Q-tip and pollinate flower to flower, be patient. You are replacing bees.
Could you not ask your friend? Does it flower? If it does, use a soft brissle brush and pollinate the flowers by one. Then if they bear fruit, you will know!
