Are you asking about self-adhesive paper to cover a coffee table? I've successfully used a marbled paper from DC-Fix on a table top. It was easy to apply, it's durable and thicker than Contact paper. I hope this helps!
Contact paper wears off after repeated things sliding across it.. I've had better luck with VINAL WALLPAPER..- depending on the surface
Lisa....I would suggest mod podge and 1 ply napkins or cut out items from wallpaper, etc. Cover with polyurethane afterwards to seal. Good luck!
