    Inexpensive stone pavers from the hardware store would work, but you really need a level ground. Another option, you could use a flowerbed border with pea gravel.

    Your cheapest solution is 12x12 concrete pavers that come in 3 colors.

    If you need a surface more like a sidewalk than stepping stones, then you’ll need a compacted and level bed with edging to keep them from moving.


    I would put weed cloth under them, unless you don’t mind the weeds coming up through your hard work and then working to kill the weeds.


    if you want a concrete walkway, lmk. That’s going to require batches of concrete that are beyond mixing by hand in a 5 gallon bucket.

    There are so many options. Do you have a preferred material? My husband just put down gravel with 12" square pavers for our daughter. You can pour concrete, diy pavers, brick, just to name a few.
