You can build a simple wooden box with a back and hang it on the wall above the refrigerator. You can also just set it on top of your refrigerator. Once it’s in place put some shelves in it. You can stain and topcoat or paint it.
You can buy a 30-36” wide unfinished “builder’s grade” cabinet for $75 and finish it to match your cabinets.
What is your time worth to build a cabinet from scratch?
Either of these could have a small tension rod and a fabric curtain:
wood or plastic crate(s), a used book shelf or nick knack shelf - and they can be decorated to go with your decor.
You can add a cabinet, shelves, or bins above it.
Be careful to not put things directly on top of the fridge unless you can make sure the air can get all around it...it will heat up n make your fridge work harder n cause issues.
