Since we don't know exactly what you mean by drum table, here are some images that might spark your imagination. If you just need to clean up the table, you can do that by first cleaning it well, then if necessary, sand it down so that it's smooth. You could paint it, stain it, add a mosaic design or stencil it. If it's a drum that is usually used for wire, they are usually much more rustic. Wishing you the best.

I would think you need to make the top a little bigger maybe with a piece of glass or wood on top maybe decorate the base
