You know in your kitchen window sill, where you put plants? I want to protect the wood where those planters are put on? Any ideas?

I put a smaller piece of plexiglass on the wood sill, it came from a scrap pile.
I use crystal or glass trays for vanity/food serving that I buy at garage sales, estates sales and Good Will type stores;you can also buy plastic ones at big box stores like walmart etc.. in garden center or even food/housewares/homegoods/bath
Hi Roxana. Depending on the size of the window sill, you could cut a place mat to fit on the sill. Easy to keep clean and inexpensive.

You can cover the sill with heavy coatd of paste floor wax.Or glass strips fron a glass shot they have lots of scrap they will cut for you usually at no charge.
I also used plexiglass and extended it out another few inches to widen the window sill
