Hi Rita. I had this same problem at our old house (with very hard water). Our shower doors always looked cloudy. I tried a lot of products and nothing really worked that well. Until I tried Scrubbing Bubbles with a blue cap. The blue cap is key. The trick to using this product is to spray it on and walk away. Wait 15 minutes and then wipe it clean with a damp cloth. For the first time our shower doors were clean and clear. I have moved from that old house but I still recommend the Scrubbing Bubbles. Well wishes being sent your way Rita.
CLR spray/cleaner is also a good option. Good luck!
Get your shower door wet by adding hot/warm water. Wipe baking soda on door and let sit for a few minutes. Next, spray on white vinegar. Let sit for a couple more minutes. Then using a sponge and warm dish soap (blue Dawn) water, scrub the shower door. This is my go-to for hard cleaning and it works every time.
Try a glass scraper.
Glass stove top cleaner is foolproof if the build up is really bad.
