How can I make over a cedar wood side table to go with cherry wood?

Any easy ideas on updating this cedar wood and side table. My bedroom furniture is cherry wood. Don't want chalk paint finish.Thanks

    Have you considered using wallpaper on them? Also Mod Podge with fabric or pages from an old book or magazine. How about sheet music?

    If you don’t want the look of paint, you will have to sand them down and then consider a stain glaze.

    I really love this look from Pinterest, but unfortunately she is selling furniture so there are no instructions. Only hint is black metallic glaze was used. How do I get this look?

    I think I would sand it and stain it the same color as the furniture that you have.
