How can I maintain my mint plant so the leaves stay large and nice?
I have several pots of mint that I cut and use a lot. In late summer it always starts looking leggy and the leaves get smaller and have spots on them. These are left out year round here in Georgia, and they always start out in the spring great. What should I do to keep them producing nice leaves at least through fall?

Mine are doing the same. It’s been a really hot & humid summer in the Midwest and I think mine are just stressed and sun-burned.
Try cutting back some of the stalks & see how they respond.
Good idea from Cheryl, that is what I do here in Maryland.
Also, I find mint loves to grow and grow, so keeping it ia pot all the time tends to make it root bound.
trim it regularly and it will spread out instead of growing up.
In addition to the suggestions above clip off any flowers that grow.
I’ve always done these things, but I still have have the little leaves this time of year. Does anybody fertilize mint? I have not done that.
