What is the best way to clean greasy kitchen cabinets ?
I'm tried all kind of solutions and nothing seems to work. The cabinets directly above the stove are just sticky with old grease from cooking. I want to paint the cabinets, but first I have to clean them. Help!!!!!

Hi Tom, I think TSP would be your best bet: https://weekendcraft.com/diy/how-to-clean-your-kitchen-cabinets-with-tsp/
For that kind of built in grease, the EASIEST way is to use a de greaser from the auto store. I will give you one that works and will not harm the wood of the cabinets. Spray it on a small area (I take the doors off) in 6 x 6 inch area or smaller and let it set ten minutes. Then use a toothbrush to scrub the area. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Repeat and work over all the cabinet the same way. It WILL take off the grease. Here is the solution:
Make a paste of baking soda & hydrogen peroxide then scrub with a toothbrush
I have had good luck using a product called Krud Kutter as a kitchen degreaser..used as a spray...breaks down the grease on cabinets without hurting the wood or painted surface. Keeping up regularly with cleaning the cabinets with the product is best..as cooking aerates oils into the air quickly and lands on everything.
I use Fast Orange. It is used to take grease off your hands. Probably any waterless hand cleaner would do. If you can find it without pumice, that might be best. Smear it on, wait a bit then wipe it off. It won't hurt your hands.
