Is it a bug spray?
I would wash them down with water and possibly insecticidal soap before bringing them indoors.
I use systemic insect granuels before bringing in my plants. It is an insecticide that you sprinkle on the soil and sort of work it in and then water very good. I do this about 10 days before bringing in my plants and have had no problem with insects.
Get some old fashioned moth balls. At night place 3-4 moth balls on the soil. Cover with a large paper bag or paper box. Overnight the smell form the moth balls will drive any bugs out of the container. In the morning remove the box - collect the moth balls. Take the plant inside. The moth balls can be recycled another plant.
