Georgianna, are you talking about the bracket that holds the individual blade? If so, I would look at thrift stores for a replacement bracket. You can often find incomplete ceiling fans at these places and cannibalize the parts.
What do you mean by "bracket" ? piece that holds blade or part of the fixture holding it to ceiling?
You can by universal replacement parts at Home Depot, Lowes, or Menard's.
If you can see the maker of the fan, contact them for the replacement part. Otherwise, there are universal parts though they may not match what is currently there. Many replacements come as 4-5 packs.
Don't know where you live, here we see ceiling fans are on the curb almost every trash day.
I would put the bracket in my car with a screwdriver and be ready to take what you need.
