It's important to follow the directions of each brand. As a general rule, they follow similar guidelines but there can be differences so it's best to find directions for using the product you choose. The counters need to be in pristinely clean condition, because clear epoxy can enlarge the look of whatever it covers. You can buy or dye epoxy by adding paint to the mix, but epoxy must be mixed correctly to work correctly. Put down lots of newspaper or other floor cover to catch the drips and allow plenty of drying time between coats. Best wishes, Jewell
