Chalk Painted Kitchen Cabinets
I helped my sister do this several years ago ! It was pretty easy ! First clean the cabinets well ! We used 2 products made by Krud Kutter , first a degreaser, then a de glosser... Both you spray on then wipe off . Then you paint ! No sanding or primer needed . Then protect your work with sealing wax , it comes in clear or antique finish . It goes on like a stain brush or wipe it on , then wipe off , it will dry to a hard finish, not waxy . Tip * number your doors ( along with coordinating hinges) so you know where each one goes !!!! It will save lots of time and aggravation !!!

In the long run, chalk paint is not going to be durable for the wear and tear in a kitchen. I used a kit by Rust-Oleum called Cabinet Transformations to paint my cabinets. You can see how I did it here: https://www.flippingtheflip.com/2015/09/kitchen-cabinets-black.html
