try a curtain rod with a long curtain hanging behind the bed
Hello there! What i did and it works beautifully is get a piece of foam about 4" thick and whatever height you want and as wide as your bed. I got an upholstered cushion from a caravan at the op shop for a couple of dollars which i use . I then cover it with a fitted sheet or a piece of material that takes my fancy and place it against the wall and tucked just a little behind the top of the bed. With the material i just tie knots in the corners of the fabric that are placed against the wall. It works really well.
I made one by cutting up a 4x4 into blocks and staining them. You can see how I did it here: https://www.flippingtheflip.com/2015/03/how-to-diy-wood-block-headboard.html
