Hi Cindy, paint stripper would do the trick! You could also probably sand it off but that would be more labor intensive.

Yes, it is just glue. Citri strip will work. You can sand the surface then pull up the fabric if it is a thick fabric.
I would try Citristrip and then sand any little pieces off
